Laufvergnügen

Laufvergnügen is a fun running event held in Washington, D.C., along the scenic C&O Canal Tow Path, starting and finishing at Fletcher’s Cove. The race offers three distance options: half marathon, 10k, and 5k, accommodating up to 300 runners. Participants enjoy a festive Oktoberfest atmosphere with traditional food such as brats, pretzels, handmade mustard, buns, and sauerkraut, along with "near beer" due to National Park Service regulations.
