About the race
The 24 Hour Lions Roar is an ultrarunning event in Columbia, Missouri, held at Gans Creek Recreation Area. It features 6-, 12-, and 24-hour solo races and a new 24 Hour Tag Team Championship. Runners compete on a 2.5-mile loop that uses the D1 NCAA Cross Country Championship Course alongside adjacent soccer fields, creating a smooth, runner-friendly circuit for day and night laps.
A 1 Hour Cub Run offers a 0.25-mile loop for kids. Proceeds benefit Pascale’s Pals, aiding children and families at the local Children's Hospital. The event blends competition with community, awarding mileage milestones and tag-team champions in a high-energy atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
