Event overview
The Little River Trail Runs take place on January 10, 2026 at Little River Regional Park in Rougemont, North Carolina (301 Little River Parkway, Rougemont, NC 27572). This is the 21st annual running of the event. Two race distances are offered:
- 10 miles
- 7 kilometers
Race details and logistics
Both races are run primarily on well-marked single-track trails. The course has race volunteers and three aid stations. Routes are color-flagged: the 7k is marked in blue and the 10 mile in orange. Registration is open to ages 7 to 96. Entry fees listed are $50 for the 10 mile and $45 for the 7k. There is a multi-race bundle available that provides a discount when registering for this event and the Philosopher's Way Trail Runs. Bib and shirt pickup is available at Bull City Running (SoDu location, 202 W. NC 54, Durham). Proceeds support the park and trail system for the community.
