Margarita 5K

The Margarita 5K at Plaza Antigua is a community race held in Waynesboro, Virginia, in partnership with Plaza Antigua. Now in its fifth year, the event features a 5K course on pavement that traverses an adjacent neighborhood. The course is walker- and dog-friendly (dogs must be leashed) and chip-timed by Blue Ridge Timing Co.

Participants receive a performance shirt, a commemorative finisher glass, and a post-race margarita for those 21+, plus a beverage ticket and an outdoor party with Plaza Antigua food. A portion of proceeds benefits HERO of Waynesboro. Awards for overall and age-group winners; team participation adds to the festive atmosphere.
