About the race
McLean 5K, hosted by the McLean Community Center and McLean Community Foundation with support from CENTURY 21 New Millennium and the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce, is a community running event in McLean, Virginia. The certified 5K course runs through McLean, starting and finishing at McLean Square Shopping Center (6631 Old Dominion Dr). Proceeds support the McLean Community Foundation, aiding schools, seniors, the arts, parks and first responders.
The event fosters a welcoming, team-oriented atmosphere and invites participants to recruit coworkers, neighbors and friends. Awards include overall and age-group medals, with three Wyndham Resort vacations drawn at the post-race ceremony. Packet pickup is day-before and race-day at the site.
