Midwest Everest
Midwest Everest is a challenging ultramarathon event held at Cannonsburg Ski Hill in Belmont, Michigan. Featuring a 100-mile race with over 30,000 feet of elevation gain and loss, it is considered the toughest 100-mile run in West Michigan. The course includes numerous "everesting" loops up and down ski runs, combined with optional two-mile trail loops on wooded single track.
Additional races include a 50-mile ultra with 15,000 feet of elevation change, a 10K sunset race, and a 20K sunrise race consisting of two laps of the 10K course. The event spans two days, offers unique awards, and supports the No Surrender Running Club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
