About the race
Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon takes place in downtown Milwaukee, offering four distances: full marathon, half marathon, 5K run, and Walk The Hoan. The course showcases Milwaukee’s skyline and Lake Michigan, highlighted by a dramatic crossing of the Hoan Bridge. Runners enjoy scenic views with more than 40% of the course along the lake, and the first 10 miles of the half and full share the same route.
The event features an indoor waiting area to stay warm before start and a special Own the Hoan Challenge allowing finishers to earn bonus medals and swag by combining events.
