About the race
Monte's 5K is a community-running event on the CSUMB campus in Seaside, California. The event features a 5K course with a new 1-Mile Run option, and a festive, family-friendly atmosphere led by the mascot Monte Rey. The start/finish is in front of the Otter Student Union, with the route winding through the campus during RAFT Weekend.
Proceeds support CSUMB student scholarships. Registration includes a race bib, medal, T-shirt, and post-race refreshments. Strollers are permitted in the final leg; dogs are not allowed except service animals.
