Montlake Turkey Trot : Event overview
Montlake Turkey Trot is a fundraiser owned by the University District Food Bank, held on November 27, 2025, at E Lynn St & 25th Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112. The event includes the 10th Annual Montlake Turkey Trot and Kids Run and serves as the Food Bank’s second largest annual fundraiser. The fundraiser had raised $3,206.10 toward a $25,000 goal (13% raised). The course runs through the Washington Park Arboretum on the traditional lands of the Coast Salish peoples.

The course passes beneath large trees and along ponds, creeks, and open fields; trails may be muddy and have plant debris. Dogs are not allowed. Strollers are permitted but must start at the back of the race corral; organizers advise using strollers suited to varied path surfaces and securing the passenger for cool, wet weather.
Community impact statistics: the University District Food Bank supports 116,000 households (325,000 individuals) annually, distributes over 3.8 million pounds of food, serves 550 households weekly via Home Delivery, partners with 18 schools for a Backpack Program serving almost 1,000 children, and supplies groceries to about 400 households weekly at off-site locations.
