Montlake Turkey Trot
The Montlake Turkey Trot is an annual fundraising running event held in Seattle, Washington, supporting the University District Food Bank. The race features a 5K run/walk, kids' 1/2 mile and 1-mile runs, and an untimed 1-mile or 5K walk. The course winds through the scenic Washington Park Arboretum, showcasing beautiful fall foliage, ponds, and creeks on the traditional lands of the Coast Salish peoples.
The event fosters a family-friendly, community atmosphere, encouraging runners, walkers, and neighbors to participate. Proceeds directly benefit local food security efforts, making it the Food Bank’s second largest fundraiser. Strollers are welcome, but dogs are not allowed for safety reasons.
