Morgantown Running Turkey Trot

The Morgantown Running Turkey Trot is a festive 5k run/walk held annually in Morgantown, West Virginia, on Thanksgiving Day. The event features a scenic course starting on the blue track by the WVU Coliseum, winding through Mon Boulevard, Boyers Avenue, Leeway Street, and finishing on the rail trail behind the Seneca Center. Participants can choose to run or walk, with awards for top finishers and walkers.

Kids under 12 can join an 800m Turkey Fun Run on the track. The event fosters a family-friendly atmosphere, offers prizes, and provides shuttle service between parking areas. The first 1,000 registrants receive commemorative socks.
