Yonah Mountain Vertical Challenge

Website

The Yonah Mountain Vertical Challenge is a demanding trail race held at Yonah Mountain Trailhead in Georgia, featuring steep, technical terrain with rocky, rooty sections and occasional scrambling. Participants can choose from a 25km race with 5,000 feet of climbing over three summits or a 50km race with 10,000 feet of climbing over six summits. New for 2026, a two-person relay option is available for the 50K.

The event spans two days to reduce trail congestion, with an after-party at NoFo Brew Co nearby. Aid stations are located at the trailhead and near the summit, and runners must carry hydration and waterproof gear. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
