Event overview
NCTRaces: 15x is a last runner standing event held at Palmer's Landing in Solon Springs, WI (9988 E. Cty. Rd. A). The event uses a short out-and-back loop of 1 mile (one half mile out, one half mile back). Runners must complete the mile within a 15-minute window each lap; failure to finish the mile in the allotted time removes the runner from the race.
Course and logistics
The course is about 99% single-track on the North Country Trail, with the Start/Finish area located in the parking lot. The Start/Finish Area will include a fully stocked aid station and space for runners to set up canopies, cars, or personal aid areas. Proceeds support the Brule-St. Croix Chapter of the North Country Trail for trail projects and maintenance. The organizer offers two price levels because participants may register with widely different goals and distances (examples given include roughly 5 miles up to 100 miles).
