The North Fork 50 Mile/50K is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Buffalo Creek, Colorado. The start and finish are at the Buffalo Creek Clubhouse, 18050 S Buffalo Creek Rd, Buffalo Creek, CO 80470. Distances offered:

Course and logistics
Both courses are 100% soft surface, composed mainly of singletrack with some short sections of double track. The routes pass through ponderosa pine forest, areas affected by the 1996 Buffalo Creek fire, and notable granite rock formations. Key stats: the 50 Mile course lists 6,425 ft total elevation gain and a maximum elevation of 8,535 ft with a 14-hour time limit; the 50K lists 3,670 ft total elevation gain and a maximum elevation of 8,150 ft with a 13-hour time limit. Aid stations are placed along each course; some stations offer food and hydration while others are water only. Drop bags are available at the Buffalo aid station. Crews are allowed at specific aid stations; pacers are not permitted, although family or friends may accompany a runner for the final mile into the finish. All finishers receive a commemorative award and special awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance. Live split tracking is provided during race weekend.
