About the race
New Year’s Eve Glow Run in Harrisonburg, Virginia, is a family-friendly night race presented by Generations Crossing. The Glow Run offers a 5K course on Heritage Oaks Golf Course cart paths as dusk gives way to night, creating a festive, glow-filled atmosphere. All participants receive glow paraphernalia to illuminate the course and are encouraged to bring headlamps or flashlights.
A Kids Countdown Run (about a half-mile) features a disco ball and a countdown at the halfway point, with noise makers. Wheelchairs, strollers, and leashed pets are welcome. The event takes place at 680 Garbers Church Rd. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
