Event details
The New Year’s Eve Glow Run takes place on December 31, 2025 at Heritage Oaks Golf Course in Harrisonburg, Virginia (680 Garbers Church Rd). The event includes the following distances and activities:
- 5K
- Kids Countdown Run - half-mile roundtrip with a disco ball and a countdown at the halfway point
All participants receive glow paraphernalia. Participants are encouraged to bring headlamps and flashlights. Wheelchair racers, strollers and leashed pets are welcome on the course.
Registration and logistics
Preregistration prices are listed in ranges: adult 5K registration from $25 to $30, kids run from $15 to $20. December 19 is the deadline to be guaranteed a shirt; after that date remaining shirts are distributed first come, first served by registration time. December 30 is the last day to register online. Packet pickup is available on race day at Heritage Oaks Golf Course and walk-up registration carries a $10 price increase. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
