#OptOutside Black Friday Fun Run

3rd Annual #OptOutside Black Friday Fun Run takes place at Grain H2O, Summit Harbour Place, Bear, DE, along the scenic C&D Canal. The event offers a 5K Run/Walk, a Competitive Walking 5K, a Student Rate 5K, and a Virtual 5K. The course is a traffic-free route on the paved Mike Castle Trail with the Castle Crusher Switchback.

Emphasizing sustainability, the race supports Plastic Free Delaware with eco-friendly swag and awards, on-site recycling, organics composting, and refill stations; attendees are encouraged to bring reusable bottles. Post-race refreshments, awards, and family-friendly activities round out the day, as part of the OptOutside movement to encourage outdoor activity on Black Friday.
