Course, logistics and race details
The half marathon will not be held in 2025 due to construction and is planned to return in 2026. The 10K course has been updated for 2025. Water stops are provided: the 5K has a mid-point stop; the 10K has stops at miles 2 and 4.5. Medals for first, second and third place in each division are awarded after the races. Each registration completed before October 1 includes a free long-sleeve Moonlight Run shirt while supplies last; bibs are available at check-in.
Headlamps are highly recommended. Check-in, sponsor booths, first aid and food/water are on the Baylands Athletic Center infield. Organizers recommend arriving at least an hour before an event. Parking is in nearby business lots off Embarcadero Road and E. Bayshore Road; parking is not allowed in the Stanford Eye Clinic lot. Limited bag checking is available. Dogs are allowed only on the 5K walk (no retractable leashes); jogging strollers are welcome on the 5K walk or at the back of runs. No cash is accepted on site.
