Perry Rotary Turkey Trot : overview
The Perry Rotary Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving morning, November 27, 2025, at Central Catholic High School, 4824 Tuscarawas St. W, Canton, OH 44708. The event includes a 5K Run/Walk, a Little Gobbler Run for children ages 9 and under (untimed), and a Friends of Turkey Trot option that provides a T-shirt only. Organizers note the removal of the 5K Competitive Walk for this year. The event has hosted over 2,000 runners, walkers, and their families in past years.
Logistics, registration and awards
Registration prices change after October 31, 2025; the Friends of Turkey Trot registration ends November 23, 2025. A no-shirt option is available with a $20 discount. To be guaranteed a shirt size, registrants should register by November 1; shirt sizes listed include youth medium and large, adult small through 3X. Packet pickup is at Central Catholic High School gymnasium on Wednesday, November 26 from 4:00-6:00 pm and on race morning. There are no refunds because the event is a fundraiser. Awards for the 5K are mailed about 3-4 weeks after the event and include top three overall male and female and top three in standard age groups from 9 & under through 80 & over.
