About the race
The Tuscarawas County YMCA Turkey Trot is a family-friendly 5K run/walk held annually on Thanksgiving Day in Dover, Ohio, at the Tuscarawas County YMCA. Celebrating its 54th year in 2025, the event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, from babies to nonagenarians, including walkers, runners, families with strollers, and dogs. The race features awards for top overall finishers, age groups, and special categories such as best spirit, costume, and pet costume.
