The Potomac River Run Marathon, organized by the Safety and Health Foundation, is an annual event held along the scenic C&O Canal Towpath in Washington, D.C. The 22nd edition is scheduled for May 3, 2025, featuring a full marathon and half marathon. The course is flat, mostly unpaved gravel, and certified for Boston Marathon qualification.
