About the race
Race Against Violence is a community running and walking event held in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, at Riverview Park. The 2nd annual race aims to raise awareness and funds for five forms of violence—domestic, sexual, gun, child, and mental health concerns—through Roads To Peace and the Ron Dailey Scholarship Fund. This year offers three options: Race Against Violence - 5K Run/Walk, Race Against Violence - 1K Walk/Run, and a 5K Walk/Run Virtual option.
The event is family- and dog-friendly, with a resiliency theme to honor survivors and emphasize support resources. A course map is available, and proceeds benefit charitable programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
