Ridge to River 10 Miler
The Ridge to River 10 Miler, held annually at Barboursville Park in West Virginia, offers a challenging and scenic trail running experience. The 10-mile course features 1,000 feet of elevation gain, beginning with four miles through deep woods and single-track trails. Runners then transition to a fast, flat river trail alongside the Guyandotte River for 2.5 miles, followed by a mostly flat final 3.5 miles with one notable hill and stunning valley views.
The race concludes with a downhill finish. A 4-mile option covers the initial portion of the course, including a steep early climb. The event is known for its natural beauty and varied terrain. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
