Rooted Acre Endurance Race : overview
The Rooted Acre Endurance Race takes place April 25-26, 2026 in Woodbine, New Jersey (118 Webster St, Woodbine, NJ 08270). The event is organized by Even Kiel Racing and starts and finishes at Rooted Acres NJ. Race formats offered include:
- 24 hour
- 12 hour
- 6 hour
- 24 Hour Relay (4 person)
- 12 Hour Relay (4 person)
Entry fees listed are $200 for the 24 hour, $150 for the 12 hour, $100 for the 6 hour, $360 for the 24 hour relay (4 person), and $220 for the 12 hour relay (4 person).
Course, rules and site amenities
Each lap of the course is 5.5 miles and is mostly dirt with very few roots. Competitors complete as many laps as they can in their designated time window. Runners must cross the timing mat to start and finish each lap. A final lap is counted only if completed by the official finish time.
Rooted Acres offers on-site amenities including a full kitchen, hot and cold showers, bathrooms, sauna, cold plunge, and fire pits. Tent camping is available. Cabins and yurts are offered at a discounted price on a first-come, first-served basis. The property is next to Belleplain State Park and is minutes from the Cape May Zoo.
