The INAUGURAL ROYAL PORT PASSAGE 5K Run/Walk takes place on Sunday, November 16, 2025 in Snow Hill, MD. The course is 3.1 miles (5K), described as flat and fast, with start and finish at Sturgis Park (100 River St.). The route goes through Historic Snow Hill and Byrd Park along the river. Proceeds benefit downtown revitalization efforts in Snow Hill. The event is hosted by Downtown Snowhill Inc. in cooperation with the Seashore Striders.
Logistics and race features
Timing is managed by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. using ChronoTrack B chips. Registered participants receive short-sleeved tech shirts (guaranteed if registered before the specified deadline). Post-race awards and refreshments will be held downtown on Green St at Tides & Vines. Awards include overall and master male/female champions and the top three finishers in 14 5K age groups: 9U; 10-13; 14-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+. Pre-race registration is listed at $30 and race-day registration at $35; online and mail-in registration options are provided. The organizer’s refund policy is no refunds, with options to transfer the entry to another event of equal value within the year, donate the fee to the event charity, or defer the entry to the following year.
