Event overview
The 21st Tim Kennard River Run takes place in Salisbury, Maryland on Sunday, March 1, 2026. The event includes the following distances:
- 10 mile
- 5k Run/Walk
- 5k Non Comp "DOG" Walk
The race start and finish are at Salisbury Bible Fellowship Church, 1500 Court Plaza Lane, Salisbury, MD 21801. The course is USATF certified and will be chip timed using the ChronoTrack system by Seashore Strider Event Production.
Logistics and race rules
Proceeds benefit Team 360, Coalition of Caring (animal support), and the Eastern Shore Running Club Scholarship Fund. The event is hosted by the City of Salisbury and Salisbury Bible Fellowship. Parking is available at the start/finish area. Race amenities include long sleeve t-shirts, awards, and a post-race celebration.
The 10 mile event has a 2 hour 30 minute time limit (15 minutes per mile). Water stops are provided every 2 miles on the 10 mile course and there is one water stop on the 5k; additional water is available at the start and finish. Unregistered runners, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, baby joggers, and dogs are not allowed on the 10 mile course. The 5k run/walk permits baby joggers and well-behaved dogs.
