Run before Walk 5K

The Run before Walk 5K is a scenic running event held in Saint Ignace, Michigan, on August 31, 2025, just before the famous Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Walk. The 5K course starts at Bridge View Park on Boulevard Drive, offering stunning views of the Mackinac Bridge and surrounding waters. The route features a smooth, hard-packed limestone gravel surface with a turnaround at 1.55 miles.

The event is limited to 150 participants, with no race day registration. Finishers receive medals crafted by a local artisan, and age group and overall awards are presented. Refreshments and accurate chip timing enhance the race experience.
