Event overview
The Run for Amma takes place Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve in Los Gatos, CA. This is the event's 15th anniversary. It is a charity run where 100% of registration proceeds will be donated to the UCSF Julia Carnevale Lab for cancer research. Registration opens Wednesday, Oct 15, 2025 at 12:00 AM PT. Local running clubs and volunteers support the event.
Distances and logistics
- 50K - 5,266 feet elevation gain, 8-hour time limit
- 30K - 3,629 feet elevation gain, 8-hour time limit
- 10K - 980 feet elevation gain, walk or run
Bib pickup for the 50K and 30K is scheduled on race day from 06:30 to 07:15. Parking is at the Skyline Ridge OSP equestrian lot near the finish area. Route maps and detailed course information are provided for each distance. Volunteers help with course marking, aid stations, shuttles and course sweeping.
