Run for the Paws 5K - Dewey Beach

The 17th Run for the Paws 5K and 1-Mile Dog Walk takes place in Dewey Beach, Delaware, supporting Humane Animal Partners. This event features a USATF-certified, flat, and fast 5K course through the Seabreeze Development, ideal for runners and walkers. Participants can choose from a 5K run, 5K walk, or a 1-mile fun dog walk, with dogs allowed on the walk courses but not in the 5K run.

The race includes custom t-shirts, awards for various age groups, and a festive post-race party with refreshments and raffle prizes. Packet pickup occurs the day before at the Dewey Lions Club, the race hub at 115 McKinley St. Proceeds benefit animal welfare programs.
