WaterMel Run Walk 5k

The 7th Annual WaterMel Run Walk 5k takes place in Lewes, Delaware, at the American Legion Post 17 on American Legion Road. This event offers a 5K run/walk and a competitive walking 5K, with chip timing provided by MYLAPS BibTag system. Participants enjoy a festive atmosphere featuring watermelon slices at the finish line, a watermelon eating contest, and watermelon-themed awards.

Adults over 21 can also enjoy watermelon "Crushes," food, and beer. All pre-registered runners receive a tee shirt. The course details are available online, and day-of-race registration is permitted.
