Run for Their Lives 5K is a 5-kilometre run/walk taking place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Wausau, Wisconsin. The event supports the Humane Society of Marathon County. Entry and logistics
Both event options list an entry fee of $25. Registration opens December 31, 2025 at 12:00am CST. The in-person event provides chip timing for participants who cross the starting line within the event's chip-timed start window. Virtual participants who wish to compete for a medal must upload route and time verification by Friday evening, May 29, at 11:59pm. Awards are available at the in-person event on race day and are mailed the following week to virtual participants. The event announcement notes that participants are welcome to bring dogs.
