About the race
The Run The Grove 5K is an annual running event held in Houston, Texas, organized by the Timbergrove Manor Neighborhood Association. The race features a USATF-certified 5K course that starts and ends at the Lorraine Cherry Nature Preserve, winding through scenic neighborhood streets and the park's perimeter. The event fosters a community atmosphere, supporting local beautification efforts like the Grow the Grove tree-planting program and benefiting nearby schools and preserves.
With growing participation—over 600 runners in recent years—the race combines fitness with neighborhood pride in a natural, wood-lined setting close to downtown Houston. A Kids Fun Run is also part of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
