Run to the River 5K

The Run To The River 5K is a community running event held in Deep River, Connecticut, as part of the town’s Family Day celebrations. The USATF-certified route begins at Devitt Field on Southworth Street, heads onto Main Street, turns onto Kirtland Street toward the river, then along River Street into Elm Street and Union Street before looping back to Devitt Field. The course finishes at the bottom of a hill near the field’s gate.

The event offers a 5K Run/Walk option, utilizes electronic chip timing, and adds a festive, family-friendly atmosphere. The first 100 registrants receive a race t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
