Run Wild Whittier

Run Wild Whittier is a family-friendly running event hosted by the Whittier School PTA in Downers Grove, Illinois. It offers a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile run/walk at Whittier School (536 Hill Street). The course features a single 1-mile lap starting on Hill Street outside the main entrance, with a map provided.

Expect a festive morning with music from DJ Muddy Puddles, plus pre-race water and snacks and post-race popcorn and Kona Ice. Awards include medals for the top finishers in each grade level (K–6) for the 1-mile and top overall male/female for the 5K. Race shirts are included for registrants by Sept.
