Runway 5k - Gastonia

Runway 5k in Gastonia, North Carolina, is a fundraiser for the Gaston County Sheriff’s Office Cadet Program. The USTF-certified 5K starts and finishes on the Runway at the Gaston Day School site near the Gastonia Municipal Airport (1030 Gaston Day School, Gastonia 28056). Participants receive a finisher medal, with overall male/female winners and age-group awards (14 and under through 70+).

The course is a true runway route, with water and snacks at the finish. Packet pickup the day before; race-day signup is available in the early morning.
