Event overview
The 2025 Scary Scamper is the 5th annual Halloween-themed running event on November 1, 2025, at LILA Headwaters campus, 19850 Fenway Ave N, Forest Lake, MN 55025. The event includes two race distances:
- 5K
- 1K
The course starts and ends at the LILA Headwaters campus and winds through a neighborhood. The race uses a professional timing service, provides a race bib, and includes age group rankings and awards. Photo finish timing is noted.
Additional information
Race registration includes a long sleeve tee; a hooded sweatshirt upgrade is available. Event swag is only guaranteed for registrations completed before October 21. Food vendors listed for the event include Smash and Dash food truck and Rudy's Mexican and Lebanese. Extended parking is provided at the government center near the Forest Lake YMCA, a 10-15 minute walk from the event site. The event is organized to raise funds for the LILA Foundation; the fundraising goal shown is $15,000. Trunk-or-Treat participation is offered with a limited number of free spots.
