About the race
The Seattle Ghost Marathon, Half Marathon, and 50K take place in Seattle, WA, with the 2025 event marking its 40th running. Held along scenic Lake Washington, the marathon features a flat, fast, Boston Marathon-certified course consisting of two 13.1-mile loops on streets and sidewalks. The route includes a clockwise loop around Seward Park and a northern stretch through Leschi, with aid stations every 3.1 miles.
The race starts and finishes at the Ferdinand St Boat Launch. Managed by NW Ultras and Green Lake Crew, the event limits participation to 450 runners and prohibits dogs and strollers on the course. Packet pickup occurs on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
