Course and event details

Both courses follow the Snoqualmie Valley Trail corridor. The courses are described as flat, with a smooth, non-technical surface, passing old-growth forest and farmland. The half marathon is USATF certified (WA16003RMB); the 10K is USATF certified (WA16002RMB).

Aid stations and on-course services: half marathon aid at about miles 2.9, 5.9, 7, and 10.2 offering water, Tailwind electrolyte drink, and GU gels; portable restrooms on the half at miles 2, 2.9, 10.2, and 11.1. The 10K has aid at about miles 2.9 and 3.3 with water and electrolyte drink and a porta-potty at the aid station. The event is cupless - participants are encouraged to use a handheld bottle, hydration pack, or a small reusable cup. Parking is at Tolt MacDonald Park, Tolt Middle School, and on downtown Carnation streets; if the park lot fills, participants will park in Carnation and walk about 1/3 mile to the park. Awards are given to the top three overall in male, female, and non-binary categories by gun time and to age groups in five-year increments; awards must be picked up at the race. The event partners with the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank. A beer garden operated by Iron Horse Brewery donates proceeds to the Eastside Firefighters Benevolent Fund.
