2026 Socks & Undie 5k Rundie - Durham County
The event takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in Durham, North Carolina. It includes a 5K timed race, a 5K non-timed participant option, a Kids Fun Run open to ages 10 and under, and a 5K virtual run/walk option. The race benefits Note in the Pocket, a nonprofit that provides clothing for children and families and aims to clothe 12,000 children and families in 2026. Location, registration and logistics
The in-person meeting place is New Hope Church at 7619 Fayetteville Road, Durham, NC 27713. Registration for the event opens October 3, 2025. The virtual rundie can be completed anytime during race weekend, April 24-26, 2026; registrants who register by March 27, 2026 at 12:00pm EST are guaranteed a race t-shirt, which is available at packet pickup only.

Course and awards
The start and finish are at New Hope Church and the 5K route follows the American Tobacco Trail. Custom medals for first, second and third place will be given to the fastest in-person timed male and female runners in the listed age brackets from 14 and under through 60 plus.
