Solomons Island SCADaddle for Research
The Solomons Island SCADaddle for Research is an annual 5K run and walk event held in Solomons Island, Maryland, at the Tiki Bar & Grill on Charles Street. Now in its second year, the event features a scenic 3.1-mile loop course with beautiful views of the Patuxent River and the Thomas J. Hatem Bridge.
It is a family-friendly event encouraging participants to complete the course at their own pace. The SCADaddle raises funds for research on Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD), a leading cause of heart attacks in young women. The event includes awards, a post-race social, and an educational seminar by a cardiologist. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
