Stomp the Stigma 5K
The Stomp the Stigma 5K is a community-focused running event held in Louisburg, North Carolina, at 100 Hospital Drive. Organized by Maria Parham Franklin and the MPF Behavioral Health team, it aims to raise awareness for mental health during National Mental Health Awareness Month. The event features a 5K run/walk that starts and ends at the hospital, passing through downtown Louisburg.
Additional activities include a 1-mile Family Fun Run/Walk and a Kids Dash on the hospital grounds. Participants receive a t-shirt and swag bag if registered early. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers, with medals for the first 100 finishers.
