Strain for the Brain

Strain for the Brain is an annual running and walking event held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at Veterans Park along Lincoln Memorial Drive. It features multiple distances including a 1 Mile Walk, 5K run, and special Survivor categories for both distances. The event honors individuals affected by brain tumors and raises funds for brain tumor research at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Participants who register early receive custom unisex cotton shirts, with gold shirts designated for brain cancer survivors. The course includes one aid station and chip timing for runners. The event fosters a supportive atmosphere celebrating survivors, families, and supporters while advancing research and treatment efforts.
