Strain for the Brain

The Strain for the Brain is a Milwaukee-based annual charity run/walk honoring individuals diagnosed with brain tumors and those who support them. The 16th annual edition takes place in Milwaukee, WI, at Veterans Park along Lincoln Memorial Drive (1010 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr.).

Distances offered include a 1 Mile Walk and a 5K, plus Survivor versions of both. The event features a family-friendly atmosphere, team fundraisers, a silent auction, and on-site aid stations, with chip timing by Silver Circle Sports Events. Proceeds benefit brain tumor research at Froedtert & MCW; past donations exceed $600,000.
