The Summer Splash Prairie Dog race will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Castle Rock, Colorado. The event is based at Castle View High School, 5254 N Meadows Dr, Castle Rock, CO 80109. Race features and partnerships
Entry fees listed on the event page are $75 for the half marathon, $45 for the 10k, and $35 for the 5k. Each registrant receives a race day shirt, a finisher's pint glass, chip timing, free photo downloads, and free GPS tracking for friends and family. Half marathon finishers receive a finisher's medal. A gender-specific performance shirt is offered for all distances. The event partners with Backpack Society as its charity partner; bringing five or more in-kind items to the donation gathering enters participants in a race day raffle. Preferred donation items include cereal and granola bars, peanut butter and jelly, family-sized box crackers, canned tuna or chicken, pasta sauce, and pasta.
