Summer Trail Fest Ultra

The Summer Trail Fest Ultra (STFU) is an annual trail running event held at Sleepy Hollow State Park in Laingsburg, Michigan. It features a 50K ultra, half marathon, and 5-mile race on 90% well-groomed, scenic trails. The course is mostly flat and heavily marked, with frequent aid stations, making it ideal for both first-time ultra runners and seasoned athletes aiming for personal records.

Generous cutoff times (20 minutes per mile for the 50K and 45 minutes per mile for the half marathon) accommodate a wide range of participants. After the race, runners can enjoy a beachside barbecue celebration. The event’s finisher medals connect with those from the Winter Trail Fest, creating a unique combined medal.
