The SW5K is scheduled for August 30, 2026, at 14605 SW Weir Rd, Beaverton, OR. It is part of the Outdoor Sundays Event Series at SWBible and includes multiple event categories: 5K Run, 5K Walk, Para Athlete, and a 1 Mile Fun Run. The 1 Mile Fun Run is free. The 5K events use chip timing and have bag check available for all participants. Entry fees for the 5K Run and 5K Walk are listed as $5 through August 16 and $10 after that date. Unisex shirts are available for purchase at the event for $10. Official results are posted online.
The course runs through a suburban setting on lightly used roadways with sidewalks and neighborhood asphalt trails. A hydration station is located along Teal at about the halfway point of the 5K route. Course support and intersection security are provided by the Beaverton Police Department. Awards include first-place medals for 11 male and 11 female age divisions (under 12; 12-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-43; 44-49; 50-59; 60+) and larger medals for the top three overall male and top three overall female 5K winners.
