The Bootleg Boogie is a trail running event at Bootleg Canyon near Boulder City, Nevada on January 31, 2026. Distances offered are:
- 100 miles
- 50 miles
- Half Marathon
Registration closes on Fri, Jan 30 at 11:59 PM PT. Packet pickup is located at the start/finish area with sessions the day before the race and the morning of the event. Race-day entries are accepted up to a short cutoff before each distance begins. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; refunds and deferrals are not offered in normal circumstances.
Course, support and logistics
The course is a 12.5-mile loop with about 2,000 feet of elevation gain per lap and more than 90% singletrack. Course formats:
- 100 miles: 8 laps (about 16,000 feet gain)
- 50 miles: 4 laps (about 8,000 feet gain)
- Half Marathon: 1 lap plus a 0.62-mile bonus section
There are three aid stations: two full-service stations offering electrolytes, solid snacks and hot food overnight, plus one additional hydration/nutrition station. Pacers are permitted after mile 37.5 for the 50- and 100-mile races; crews are allowed at all points on course. Parking is available at base camp near the start/finish; camping is permitted on a first-come basis Thursday through Monday morning at no cost. Volunteer positions are available, including paid options. Prize money is allocated for top finishers in the 100-mile division, with a current $5,000 allocation and a listed payout structure for top three places by gender.
