About the race
The Georgia Jewel is a celebrated trail running event held near Dalton, Georgia, featuring distances of 100, 50, 35, and 18 miles. Known as Georgia's longest-standing 100-mile trail race, it takes place on the scenic Pinhoti Trail, with 99% single-track terrain and a challenging climb called "Mt. Baker." The course includes beautiful ridgeline sections and a rocky garden, offering a mix of runnable single-track through pine forests and technical trail.
The 100-mile race starts at the Dalton Convention Center and loops through the Dry Creek Trail system, allowing crew access at multiple points.
