Race logistics
The course is a continuous loop of 4.0 miles, largely flat with one minor speed bump. The route uses the New Boston Rail Trail along the Piscataquog River to a turnaround at Lang's Station, then returns and follows a gravel service road around the fairgrounds. Loop tracking is managed at the Start/Finish with chipped bibs; bib numbers must be visible on the front of the body. A central aid station at the Start/Finish supplies water, electrolyte drinks, sodas, fruit, gels, and other food; 6/12/24/30 hour runners will have lunch/dinner options, and 24/30 hour runners receive breakfast. Pacers are not allowed in the 6 hour race; 12, 24 and 30 hour entrants may use one pacer after dark (starting at 5:00 PM). Dogs are not allowed on the grounds. Tents, small pop-ups, canopies, and RVs are allowed; quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Runners in the 12, 24 and 30 hour events must supply their own headlamps. Refunds are available if registration is canceled through UltraSignup more than 60 days before the event, minus processing fees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
