Format, course and rewards
The event has no set route and uses hidden volunteer "bosses" around Auburn. Runners scan QR codes to check in at bosses, complete optional side quests for time reductions, and roll dice to win time reductions or receive penalties. Every runner faces a final dragon whose roll can change the final time. Rewards include the custom D20, a t-shirt, and a post-run drink.
