The Quest Adventure Run

The Quest! Adventure Run, held in Auburn, California, is a unique and immersive running event combining trail running with interactive role-playing elements. Participants choose between a 6-mile "Dungeon Dash" or a challenging 16-mile "Knight’s Longmarch" with significant elevation gains. Runners select a character class by rolling a virtual die, which grants special abilities for the race.

The course has no set route; instead, runners navigate Auburn to find hidden "bosses" and complete side quests involving riddles, scavenger hunts, and challenges, all tracked via phone and maps. Success in battles and quests earns time bonuses. The event concludes with a final boss challenge and rewards including a custom D20 die, a commemorative shirt, and a post-run drink, creating a fun, adventurous atmosphere for all skill levels.
