The Ranch 50K

The Ranch 50k, organized by Second Wind Trail Running, takes place in Daley Ranch, Escondido, California, with the start/finish at Dixon Lake Picnic Area. The 50K is two laps of a 15.6-mile loop, totaling about 6,318 feet of ascent. A half-marathon option uses a single 13.1-mile loop with ~2,706 feet of gain.

Runners are supported by three fully stocked aid stations at La Honda, Lilac Hill, and the Dixon Lake start/finish, and face two course cut-offs (per loop and total). The race is a SoCal Ultra Series qualifier, includes post-race meals, finisher medals, additional swag, and supports the Wounded Warrior Project.
