About the race
The Raven Half Marathon (13.1 miles) is an adventure run returning to Central Pennsylvania, starting and finishing at Poe Valley State Park in Coburn. The 2025 course weaves through the Seven Mountains region with miles of single-track trails, some double-track sections, a stream crossing, and rewarding vistas. It is suited for mid-level and accomplished runners and is hiker-friendly, though not a beginner hike—training is encouraged.
The event is limited to 200 runners, emphasizing a low-key atmosphere with Raven swag, food, and support. Hosted by the Juniata Valley Striders to benefit the SMCC. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
