Races, format and support
- Ascent - 2.5 mile climb with about 2,500 ft of vertical to the summit of West Tiger 2 via the Cable Line; a 3 mile untimed descent returns to the trailhead.
- 50k - full looped Tiger Claw course with rugged terrain and significant elevation.
- Big Cat - combined registration that includes both the Ascent and the 50k.
- Ambush - new 3-person relay following the 50k course; teams split after the first aid station to run the three ascents separately and finish together.
- Double - a 50 mile option that completes all loops twice, once in each direction, totaling nearly 17,000 ft of vertical.
There are two aid stations, Base Camp and High Camp, with drinks and basic race foods. Participants must carry at least one water bottle; cups are not provided but water pitchers and collapsible race cups will be available. Cutoffs require the Ascent to be completed within 2 hours and the 50k within 10 hours; the 50 mile follows 50k cutoffs on the first set of loops and additional later cutoffs. Equal podium prizing is offered for Men, Women and Non-Binary categories. A waitlist is used if the race fills. Finishers receive event-specific items by race category.
